The perfect trek ever with Hari !
We engaged Hari services for 7 days trek in the Langtang valley from Kathmandu all the way to Kyanjin Gumba & summit and return in June/July 2017.
We've come across Hari by chance in the street in Kathmandu, taking our time looking for several bigger trek companies including our accommodation one, we came back to his office and decided to employ his services.
His family business has the advantages to have flexibility of a human sized one and all you can expect from the profession (that is to say: safety, reliability, adaptation, trouble-free service from end-to-end).
Daily organization (from trek permit submission to local jeep transportation and so on) have been efficient, flexible, reliable, with great calm and patience.
Not only we had it tailored made, chosen to lengthen duration in some places and shorten others : in true relaxing atmosphere of holiday, all advices and choices have been made in saavy and realistic way, with what your physical condition is and what the weather was (June/July being in the rainy season).
I usually don't post comments on travel services but Hari, by its high level of service delivered, its profund versatile knowledge & curiosity and simply by the person he is, is really a 5 star person to trek with : )

We used Hari for a 8 day Langtang valley trek. Hari was the guide and porter to which he was superb. Very thoughtful and understanding to our limits and capabilities. Langtang itself was outstanding with a fantastic goal of Mt Tsergo a 4985meter mountain with incredible 360degree views within the trek. Life changing experience with a girlfriend. Thank you Hari

Incredible Langtang Valley experience!
Everything happens for a reason and a chain of circumstances took me to Hari's office: Holiday Hiking Team. My friend and myself went with Hari and our porter, Krishna, to visit Langtang Valley in seven days. All the stops where programmed by Hari as I had in mind before travelling to Kathmandu. However, without him the hike would not have been half as good! He knew when and where to stop to enjoy the views or to catch your breath. He also gave us few tips not to get altitude symptoms and kept on reminding us to eat and drink well. Throughout the whole trek, I felt so well looked after by Hari and his team that I am not sure if my own mother could have beaten him! Ha,ha! (I am just joking mum...). He is a very positive and friendly man, but what I admire from him the most is his ability to transmit his incredible knowledge in such a humble manner. All those hours we spent climbing steep slopes and sweating under a powerful sun were extremely enjoyable thanks to him. I have no doubt that I will come back to visit Nepal in the future and, of course, I would love to trek again with Hari and his team! Therefore, I would 100% recommend Holiday Hiking Team to anyone who wants to trek and/or visit Nepal for a unbeatable price and experience!

Solo female Langtang trek
I met Hari on my second day in Kathmandu after researching hiking guides. He suggested a 7 day Langtang trek as it would be less touristy. The next day I had a city tour of Kathmandu learning about the history, politics and religions of the country. The day after that we started the trek in a shared jeep to a city in the mountain region. We followed a new road along the mountain side which required a skilful driver.
I was new to hiking and Hari kindly lent me his sticks, warm trousers and a face mask which I used at various points along the way. I found the route challenging as I’m not used to inclines and Hari helped guide my feet and held my hand for the tough parts. We stopped at various teahouses along the way and Hari did everything to smooth the process from providing information about the trail to ordering food and keeping me safe.
My favourite accommodation was called Langtang Memorial Guest House where the workers were friendly and I was able to have hot, indoor shower. We reached a viewing platform in Kyanging at an altitude of 4,400m before beginning the descent which was faster than the climb.
Hari helped me when back in Kathmandu with advising the best places to go shopping. I had a lovely farewell dinner on the last day. I would highly recommend Hari for tours in Nepal. I had a once in a lifetime experience thanks to Hari and the Holiday Hiking Team.

Trekking in Langtang
Nice experience in Langtang with Hari, who is really interested in explaining about nature, local culture or history. If you have the time, Hari is also making free walking tour of Kathmandu where you discover a lot about architecture and religion. Also Hari was very helpfull and attentive during the trek, we had good time trekking with him so we definatly use Hari and his company Holiday Hiking Team next time.
